Returns Policy for Abode & Co.
Thank you for shopping with Abode & Co. We hope you love your new items. However, if you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, we are here to help. Please read our returns policy below for more information on how to return an item.
1. Eligibility for Returns
- Items must be returned within 30 days of the delivery date to be eligible for a refund or exchange.
- Returned items must be in their original condition: unused, unwashed, unaltered, and in their original packaging.
- Items that are damaged, soiled, or missing parts may not be eligible for a refund or exchange.
2. Non-Returnable Items
The following items cannot be returned:
- Custom or personalised products
- Items that have been assembled or modified
- Sale or clearance items (unless faulty)
- Gift cards
3. How to Initiate a Return
- To start a return, please contact our Customer Service team at hello@abodeandco.uk with your order number and the reason for the return.
- After confirming your return eligibility, you will receive a Returns Authorisation Number (RAN) and instructions on where to send the item(s).
4. Return Shipping
- Customers are responsible for the cost of return shipping unless the item is faulty or incorrect.
- We recommend using a trackable shipping service and purchasing shipping insurance. Abode & Co is not responsible for items lost or damaged during transit.
- If the return is due to our error or a defective item, we will provide a prepaid return shipping label.
5. Processing Your Return
- Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to confirm receipt.
- If approved, a refund or exchange will be processed within 7-10 business days. Refunds will be credited to the original payment method.
- If your return is not approved, we will contact you to explain why.
6. Disclaimer Regarding Handmade and Natural Materials
- Certain products are meticulously crafted by hand using natural materials sourced from sustainable sources. Due to the handmade nature and the use of natural materials, each item may exhibit unique variations in color, texture, and appearance.
- These variations are inherent characteristics of handmade and natural products and contribute to their charm and individuality. They do not signify defects or quality issues.
- While we strive to maintain consistency in our products, the handmade process and natural materials may result in slight differences between batches or individual items.
- We embrace the beauty of imperfection and celebrate the uniqueness of each handmade piece. Customers should expect and appreciate these variations as part of the handmade experience.
- Abode & Co is not liable for minor discrepancies in appearance or texture due to the handmade process or natural materials. These variations are an integral part of the artisanal craftsmanship and add to the authenticity of our products.
7. Faulty or Damaged Items
- If you receive a faulty or damaged item, please contact our Customer Service team immediately. Provide a description of the issue and, if possible, include photos.
- We will work with you to arrange a replacement, exchange, or refund, depending on your preference.
8. Exchanges
- To exchange an item, please initiate a return following the steps above. Once your return is approved, you can place a new order for the item you want to exchange it for.
- The exchange will be processed once we receive the returned item.
9. Additional Information
- Refunds for items purchased with gift cards or promotional vouchers will be credited back to the same form of payment.
